23 Apr 2008 - RIVER CRUISE FOR RED HAT DAY

Fourteen of us had a really wonderful Red Hat Day (St George's Day, as well). Unfortunately it rained hard before we boarded the Boston Belle, but once under cover, we enjoyed the "spread" put on for us with lots of laughter and chat, and waving to people ashore. They must have thought we'd gone mad!!!

All too soon, the Belle turned at Langrick Bridge and took a slow journey back to Boston, with the famous Stump coming into view through the mist.

Would you believe it, the rain stopped and the sun came out once we went ashore!
