10 May 2008 - Trikes and Red Hatters
Having arranged this outdoor event, we could only cross our fingers that the weather was good to us, and it was. A beautiful day for us to meet up with members of Trikes R Us (http://www.trikesrus.co.uk/index2.php) on the car park belonging to the Anglia Motel on the A17. We were given a ride around the Holbeach area, and through the High Street (much to the amazement of local shoppers). What a thrill for some of our girls, especially as they had thought it would be pedal tricycles! Of course, we had to tie our hats on so the wind didn't take them, and we made it into the local papers.
We would like to thank members of Trikes R Us for making the day a memorable one, especially as they had travelled from Sleaford, Rotherham and elsewhere to be with us. We would also like to thank the Anglia Motel for allowing us the use of their car park.

Trikes R Us gave their time freely, so we thought it only right to contribute to any charity that they supported, and so £23.00 was given to the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance via Trikes R Us, which forms part of the total in the Certificate below.
