16 Jul 2008 - Doddington Hall

With Margaret feeling poorly and couldn’t come, only 10 people went to Doddington Hall. The weather was kind and nine of us sat and had a picnic in the car park before going into the grounds. The guide said the tour round the house would last ½ to ¾ hour, it lasted for over 1½ hours after which we went our own way going over the lovely grounds of the kitchen and formal gardens. We did meet up for a cup of tea/coffee in the café with superb cake (couldn’t say no). We had a few admirers who took photos of us all and one chap has even promised to send some copies to us via our Queen June’s address.
