28 Aug 2008 - Historic King's Lynn

A walk with our Blue Badge Guide (Lesley) gave us an interesting insight into the history of King's Lynn. This started at St Margarets Church and finished outside the Corn Exchange showing us a variety of buildings from different periods in history, little picturesque courtyards which would not otherwise be found, and telling us a great deal about the various inhabitants who had made their mark on King's Lynn.

Afterwards there was the whole afternoon to wander the shops (looking for all things purple, of course) and a spot of lunch before returning home tired but having had an enjoyable Play Day.
