Fen Fatales of Holbeach | |
|
Welcome to the website for the Official Red Hat Society Chapter, "Fen Fatales of Holbeach", Lincolnshire, England (the first in Lincolnshire).
Fen Fatales is a group for ladies over the age of 50 who want to meet together, socialise with people of similar age group and interests, go out places, have fun and enjoy each others' company.
You will recognise us by our purple outfits and red hats, following the well-known poem "Warning"© by Jenny Joseph which starts "When I am an old woman I shall wear purple, with a red hat that doesn't go....."
Take a journey through this website by clicking the buttons on the left and you will see what we get up to and how we enjoy life.
If you would like further details of our Chapter and events, or to find out if there is a Chapter near you, please contact me by email to : juneroseredhat@hotmail.com We would love to see new members.

There are approximately 90 Chapters of the Red Hat Society in the United Kingdom and Ireland, as well as other countries of the world, with many thousands in America (where it first originated).
Some years ago, Sue Ellen Cooper decided to buy a friend a red hat to wear when they met, and other friends decided they would do likewise (from little acorns, who could have guessed where we would be now). |
